Heaters for tanks with DI (Deionized) Water

Deionized water is used in the metal finishing industry for cleaning parts before and after immersion into tanks with chemical solutions. 

You see the word water and you think, Oh.. I can drink that! DO NOT CONSUME DI WATER ! It will ruin your electrolytes in your body.

Because Di water has no ions in it, it wants to become electrically balance and will “steal “ opposing ions whereever it can.

There are two choices for heating DI water:

• CP titanium
• 316 L (low carbon) stainless steel with electro-polishing
